Cristiano Ronaldo plays in Portugal's national team and in Manchester United. He plays as a forward or right winger. Ronaldo started playing since he was 3 years old and is now the greatest soccer players ever. Ronaldo was born on February 5, 1985 and was playing ever since he was 3 but never really knew that he wanted to go professional till he was 6 years old he was on different teams as a little kid and grew up to love soccer he taught himself everything that he does now. He even has a giant statue of himself in Madrid's historic Plaza de Ramales .With three Premier League titles and one Champions League title he is ready to win the world cup of 2010 and make history as the bestest soccer player!

Cristiano Ronaldo is like the best player ever! It is crazy that he knew he wanted to go professional when he was only 6 years old. I mean most 6 year olds only have crazy fantasys of what they want to be. It is amazing that he even has a statue of himself. I think he can lead his team into winning FIFA 2010!

ReplyDeleteAs a whole team we got onto a plane and flew to South Africa to compete in FIFA World Cup 2010. We are very excited and feel that well do really well. We arrived on May 12, 2010 to start to get used to playing in that environment and everything. We will be staying in two hotels: Hotel Turismo da Covilha and Hotel Serra Da Estrela. We also have a third hotel, which is a spa. So we use it for relaxation and recovery purposes. When we arrived at the hotels there were baskets and notes welcoming us to South Africa. We will be placed at one end and the coaches at the other end. Then our administrators are above and below us. Then we have security guards placed at each end. If anyone other then our team enters the hotel buildings they have to be approved by security. In our rooms we have little green baskets where we put our clothes after training and they are replaced with new ones. We also have two South Africans on our coaching staff to help with transitions form Portugal to South Africa be seamless. All precautions in Portugal are taken in South Africa, which is great and has helped our team so much. It’s so great how we have so many people watching out for us as we stay in South Africa for FIFA. Our team is really well taken care of at these hotels. We travel to and from the fields with a police escort. Traffic is stopped for our bus to move with ease. We have so many fans! For our first training session it was open to the public and there were three thousand fans plus lots of press. In comparison to Portugal South Africa has taken really good care of us. They have tended to our every need and made us feel at home. The hotels, security, fans, travel, and fields are all awesome! Our First match will be held June 15 against Cote d’Ivoire. We are very excited and plan on taking the cup home this year!
